Reconstruction of the school U.Betti in Camerino

The executive project concerns the realization of the new Ugo Betti School Institute. The complex consists of four independent structural units, separated by a seismic joint: the US1-US2 blocks host the elementary school, the classrooms and the laboratories and are developed on two floors; the US3 block hosts the kindergarten, the gym, the canteen, the auditorium and the offices and consists of a single floor above ground. The internal staircase and the elevator are an independent structural block joined seismically to the other blocks.
The structure consists of steel frames and inverted V-shaped bracing, to which horizontal actions are entrusted. The trapezoidal sheet metal floors alternate with those made using platform-frame technology.
